However,
not uncommon. This illustration depicts the inner area of
an actual one-year old
Heating,
Ventilation,
Air
Conditioning
system (HVAC,) contaminated with an accumulation of various
types of toxic micro-organisms, Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC’s,);
known and
unknown
fungi, molds, yeasts, bacteria, viruses, mycelium threads,
spores, and pollens, which are all allergens. Bear in mind,
Legionnaires disease (Legionella Pneumophila) was discovered
in the coils of the HVAC after the devastating outbreak at
an American Legion convention (for which it was named) in
Philadelphia in July 1976. The bacteria triggers acute
respiratory infection, which causes severe pneumonia.
After installation of the
Medallion Duct Unit
Illustrated above is the proprietary U-shaped combination UV
lamp producing an adequate amount of unobstructed,
clean ozone
(blue),
and all-encompassing
germicidal rays
(red),
as a solution to air contamination in heating, ventilation,
air conditioning systems. The
clean ozone
emitted
from the lamp is heavier than air and therefore wafts
throughout the inner cavity space and drops onto and through
the air conditioning coil, thus destroying any potentially
health hazardous matter growing within the cavities, coil,
drain, and drain pan.
The lamp
is self-supporting, which eliminates any obstructed blind
areas around the lamp.

1. UV
03-G18 U: Ocidal: This is a U-shaped lamp; a combination
UV lamp producing clean ozone and germicidal for use in air
pollution contamination in the heating and/or air
conditioning systems (damp, fungi-breeding ground) where
both applications are needed to obliterate detrimental
health-causing toxic Indoor Air Pollution allergens. The
Ocidal increases air circulation, which in turn increases
air conditioning efficiency because the Ocidal keeps the air
circulation openings from accumulations of residues. Since
the ozone output sacrifices itself destroying VOC’s there is
no ozone emitted into the air out lets above EPA established
limits.
2. UV G-18 U: This
U-shaped lamp produces germicidal rays ONLY. For use in
ducts where only the benefits of germicidal applications are
required in furnace and ventilation systems.
3. UV 03-18 U:
This U-shaped lamp produces clean ozone ONLY. For use where
ozone concentration requirements are higher in furnace and
ventilation systems. A complete line of single and gang
lamps are available for standard and custom configuration
applications. Lamps range 4inches to 5 feet in length; up to
20 lamps per gang. UV lamp types: the Ocidal, the
Germicidal, and All Ozone. For special application and
