Medallion offers a variety of testing, sampling, remediation and purification services. Below is a brief overview of each.

Certified Mold Inspections:

When you suspect that you might have mold in your home, trust the experts at Medallion to fill your needs. Each inspector is fully trained, tested and certified by the Indoor Environmental Standards Organization. Our certified inspectors understand what to look for when it comes to suspect mold. Each certified inspection follows the detailed Standards of Practice of IESO.

Air Sampling:

While inspecting, if a Medallion certified mold inspector finds suspect mold, he advises the client, and if requested by client, will conduct one of three tests-tape, swab or air. Air sampling follows the IESO Standards of Practice and involves taking samples of the air at the indoor and exterior levels to determine if there is a significant presence of certain types of mold at the interior of the indoor environment.

Mold Sampling:

During an inspection, if a Medallion certified mold inspector, or any other certified inspector for that matter, finds suspect mold, he advises the client and will conduct this type of test if requested. Mold sampling involves either taking a tape sample or a swab sample following the IESO Standards of Practice. A tape sample allows the lab to identify certain types of molds but can be limiting compared to a swab sample, which allows a more thorough analysis at the lab.

Allergen Testing:

Perhaps you have that nagging cough that only happens when you enter your office or home? You don’t see any mold but you call a Certified Mold Inspector from either Medallion or some other reputable company. They do not find any suspect mold. However, the cough persists.

Medallion technicians can test for allergens using the latest techniques and technologies that follow IESO Standards of Practice. This allows the client to gain a better understanding of the cause, and with the help of Medallion’s technicians, determine the best corrective action.

Air Purification:

As leaders in the remediation and decontamination field, we offer one of the safest methodologies for cleaning and purifying a home of allergens, airborne mold spores, mildew, chemicals, gasses from new carpets, mycotoxins and other toxic compounds that can pollute an indoor environment.
